- Never. A shared file is an incomplete as a video product, so that infringement of copyright never occurs.
Therefore a main file (.cmx) can be sent as a mail or can be shared by using the P2P software. Furthermore a file sharing function can be added to a system developed by a user utilizing the Cmix system.
- What are the user's attributes ?
- In demo system, gender, birth date, and zip code.
- Where is a moving image product reproduced ?
- When a user clicks on main file (.cmx), a browser is brought up, and the moving image product is reproduced on a web site specified by the contents holder. Information optimized to the user's attributes is sent together with the moving image product.
- How is a moving image file divided ?
- All of frames constituting a moving image product are divided respectively. Because of the feature, reunification of the divided files is extremely difficult as compared to the conventional techniques.
- How is the small file encrypted ?
- Encrypted with CM elements. The CM elements as used herein include moving image commercials, logo marks, and any other information useful for advertisement of companies or products.
- How is a user exposed to the CM elements ?
- A small file is encoded with CM elements, and therefore the user is always exposed to the CM elements each time the user views the product file. It is to be noted that viewing of moving image commercials is not always required to the user.
- What is the software required for viewing ?
- It is necessary to install Java and QuickTime for viewing the demo system. For the details, please refer to the Demo page.
- What are the user's attributes required ?
- The user's attributes are required for providing additional information most suited to each user. This is also beneficial to the user, because the user can acquire information suited to the user's attribute.
